| Population of Muslims in
Some non-Islamic Countries
Somebody had asked why we had not included
non-Islamic countries in the statistics on Muslims. The main reason
for excluding these countries was that the data is collected in a
non-standard format... so there is no accurate way of knowing how many
Muslims live there. This segment is to give an idea of how vague the
information is. Some countries count Muslims as a separate category,
while others put all religions under the category of 'other' or
'non-Christian' or 'Muslim and other'.
